Just A Chill Or Is It Something More

I am on with my day

Doing routine things like laundry and dishes

Nothing to exciting but pleasant in some ways

Knowing I will have a clean house and clothes all ready to wear

Sometimes we forget the little things that make us feel content

Soon it will be time for work and I will enjoy that too

Each thing that I do has it's own place and time

I squeeze in a writing during intermission

Just like a play where we don't want to miss anything

So it gives us a little break and then after 15 minutes we are ready to begin where we left off

Making it work and giving me new direction and goals

Always thinking how to improve on what I already know

When my day is done I wonder how many other people think like me

Oh I got a chill what on earth could that be

A sign that my body suddenly got cold

A feeling so sweet my body tingles from head to toe in seconds

I like to think of it as unepected joy

Telling me I am on the right track

Don't stop now I got your back

So if today I only accomplish chores and jobs

I will be happy not to have left them and leave them for someone else to be done

Procrastination will never be my friend and you have to find someone else to bother

The spirit inside of me has to many plans

So let the sunlight shine and my cat being pampered by my love

If it is rubbing her neck and back or playing with a mouse on a stick

Seeing her finally stop because she is tired and needs to rest

Is reward enough

Each day another blessing I can count

On my fingers and toes

What would people think if they only knew

I'm not telling but I can't stop you
