Just fool’s golden inlay
Glimmer from the cover
The lies
Sacrament
A mysterious book
Made my monsters
To keep those not wanted
Far enough away
Glimmer from the cover
Just fool’s golden inlay
Secrets kept
For only the monsters’ ears to hear
A grand scheme
In the making for thousands of years
Monsters of every make
Monsters of every kind
To take over the world
One saint at a time
With lies and deceit
They have created a world
Where only the monstrous of monsters
Have access to The Word
A Word not spoken
Out loud for fear
Saints will hear them
For the monsters are near
Monsters in disguise
Not quite normal
Not quite right
Yet yielding power
In your darkest night
Smiling to your face
Flashing pearly whites
Thinking that the saints
Can’t see their crooked smiles
Shaking your hand
Manicured and smooth
Covering up the callous practices
Misconfiguring all that is true
In a nowhere lobby
Sits part sinner part saint
Glad she’s not a monster
Awaiting her fate
The monsters
Her fate they will decide
They hold the book
The sacrament
The lies
