Uncle Larry And The Bigfoot.

Updated on December 16, 2011

Uncle Larry And The Bigfoot. - By Pat Gillem

One day Uncle Larry was fly fishing, on a beautiful mountain stream,

suddenly a rock landed in front of him, followed by a high pitched scream!

Uncle Larry turned all red, then blue, then a very white pale,

he dropped his favorite fishing pole, and bolted up the trail.

Now Gil was fishing a quiet little pool, further up the stream,

he thought the world had ended, when he heard that awful scream!

He stepped out onto the narrow trail, to see about all the fuss,

when they both ran over him, like a big runaway city bus.

Bigfoot chased Uncle Larry, down the mountain, to the limits of the city,

Bigfoot thought to himself, ' It was fun chasing him, but its over what a pity.'

Uncle Larry went to their favorite gathering place, to tell the awful tale,

then he exclaimed,'' I left Gil behind, they should just take me off to jail!''

Just then Gil stumbled into the room, and just stood there stunned and blinking,

everyone in the room was wondering, just what in the world he was thinking.

He said, ' I don't know what actually happened, during that big ole fuss,

but one thing I would like to know is, who the heck was driving that bus?! ''

Hi Manlypoetryman - I have to agree with you sir. If he was chasing me, I would probably learn to walk on water. Lol. Thanks for stopping by.

If'n that had been me...the closest city would have been too close to stop runnin' from Bigfoot...I wouldn't have stopped for three more Continents!

I agree with ya that hairy things don't like swampy places.

Me either, but it could be that Puerto Rican thing . . . Chupacabadra. It might be more more likely, if you ask me. No one knows what it is. After all, big hairy mammals don't do well in the Florida swamps, except for bears and panthers. Squirrels don't even like it.

Howdy Paddyboy - If someone should ever ask you to list the foods in a Sasquatch's diet, never say "Sas-squash." No need to get folks to thinking that Bigfoot is a cannibal.

      Gus :-)))
