POLLUTION AT THE BEACH by b. Malin

POLLUTION AT THE BEACH is not necessarily in the water...Oh no, it can also come from those Beautiful (or not so beautiful) Perfectly Tan Bodies, worshiping the Sun on the Beach. Some of those Perfectly formed Mouths, when opened for Talk. would make a sailor Blush, and rush back to the sea. But Me, I'm annoyed. Yeah, PRETTY ANNOYED at what I hear and see. What gives people? Why don't you care? I don't mean to stare....I swear. But listening to you, with you LOUD, OBNOXIOUS, SWEARING SOUNDS, "F" this and "F" that. What's another Sun Worshipper to do? I guess that I could wear Ear Plugs, but then I would not hear the Sounds of the Ocean, and isn't that why we've all come, for the peaceful sounds of the Ocean, and not the POLLUTION that comes from your MOUTHS? Something to think about, for next time.

THE END OF SUMMER by b. Malin

You know summer's almost over then the "tide" starts to wash huge amounts of seaweed ashore, and the sun's rays don't seem so strong anymore.

When you walk along the beach, you find you have to look down more often to make sure that there are no "Jellyfish" at your feet, that will cling and sting you. But still, you don't really care as long as you are able to spend a few more precious days at the beach.

You look up and notice the "Sea Gulls" flying about acting more anxious, and you find yourself wondering how they survive the long oncoming winter, and you silently wish them well until you see them again next summer.

You watch a group of children happily playing by the shore, making "Sand Castles", laughing as they watch the tide come in and melt their art work once more. Your eyes turn to the "Frisbee" players tossing their plastic disks of many colors to one another in the haze of the day, looking so carefree, so gay.

Your eyes wander around to the "Sun-Bronzed" bodies sprawled out in various positions of worship to the sun, and the Lovers, who's bodies lay entwined with one another, and whose eyes when opened, notice Nothing But Each Other, and the Music played on the radio this summer is theirs, only theirs.

You go back to your blanket, lie down, and shut your eyes as the Sun and the Ocean breezes caress your body once more, while you lick the salty kisses from your lips, as you think of an old Lover. You feel so good, so Alive, and wish that Summer never had to End.

No one could create a more Beautiful sight.....then the Sun, the Land, and the Sea, on a Beautiful Summer's Day. by b. Malin
