Laundry (A Poem)
I spend enough time doing laundry, that I've managed to make up a poem about it. If you hate laundry like I do then I think you will enjoy this poem!!
I really do hate laundry
I do it every day
But no matter how many loads I do
It never goes away
Just when the piles start shrinking
My daughter cleans her room
And the piles are sky high again,
Now smelling of teen perfume.
My son thinks he needs to change his underwear
Whenever he goes poo
And everyone uses a new towel when they shower
Sometimes even two!
Laundry, laundry, laundry
I wish you’d go away
I’d rather walk around naked
Than do it every day
