Left Me Lonesome

Updated on June 6, 2013

Autumn wind hum through the night

As its leaves be set free to twirl and twine

----But I---

Unlike the wind, unlike the leaves--- has yet not set free

Although I have tried----to set this heart free

But the demon has took control of me

----It took the love that I have given, it wasn’t just any kind of love

But a love I called eternity

      Expressive and tragically sad.

Love the poem and the photo to go with it. The images sent chills up my spine. Well written Dark poem. Hope the demon lifts it's grip on the stolen heart. Voted up and Hit many buttons.

Great picture to enhance your words. Interesting that you let the demon rob you of an eternal love.

Love the images your words brought to mind and the minimalist form of the poem.

Beautiful. With me, it was not a demon. It was death.
