It’s ridiculous
And a bit supercilious
How people seem to think
They can come between the two of us
Our bond forged
In mettle stronger than steel
People can object
But they can’t tell us what we feel.
I’d die for you
And I know you’d die for me
Flames like this
Were meant to burn for eternity.
So let’s show those doubters
And teach those naysayers
That sometimes God
Really does answer prayers
Our dreams have come true
Now that we have found each other
Let our story will be told
And make lonely hearts flutter.
