A Sojourn
A Sojourn
Close our eyes for some moments
For the sight blurred our inner vision
We despised width, length, and height
A symmetrical urge wilted sense of life.
Close our eyes for some moments
For the sight colored our soul much
We ceased to touch heart and mind
A melanin measure altered sap of life.
Close our eyes for some moments
For the sight stirred our mind wild
We twisted smiles playing on the face
A naïve move triggered storms in life.
Close our eyes for some moments
For the sight whacked our heart hard
We wandered in the mazes of love
A mere glance ruined castles of life.
Close our eyes for some moments
For the sight withered our conscience
We blamed suave curves and fissures
A sudden kink crashed the flow of life.
Close our eyes for some moments
For the sight robbed our psyche bad
We created nightmares out of images
A mere look changed all essence of life.
Now taste the life and forget all forms
Hear that every word rushes to kiss you
Smell the nature and each being with love
Touch the earth down and things around.
Sleep and dream the things we touched
Words you heard and the food we tasted
Smooth skin we felt and scintillating smell
A sojourn of sight will incite flavor of life.
