A Poem's Abode
Poetry Omnipresent
I traced out a poem,
It is wind in the space,
That blows placid and cool,
In our hearts and minds,
Stirs our souls with love,
Enchants and cajoles,
Shakes up our existence,
And dances furious,
With rage and tumult.
I acquainted with a poem,
It is depth of a glance,
That can rock the world,
Weaves threads of breath,
Swings and charms the life,
Hoodwinks the dark night,
Stretches and touches the moon,
Sluices and tames the ocean,
With all love and passion.
I befriended a poem,
It is the spell of an eye,
That wins and spins hearts,
Caresses the broken souls,
And penetrates deep within,
Moves with the fleeting time,
Wishes to catch all moments,
Dares and deceives death all
With a razor look and sight.
I heard a poem all clear
It is a sound perennial,
A flapping bird,a buzzing bee,
Vibrates blood in the furrows,
Shoves tears into the trenches,
Jolts dreams in the sleep,
Drinks all the potion of life ,
And digs into the universe,
Epiphany of doom and bliss.
