Lets Start Today With Some Good Wishes

So lets make today just a little more special

Loving the people we see if only for an instant

It can be so rewarding and nice

We are all busy and have many things to do

Begin by pulling out our top favorite activities and doing them first

If you could only do ten things today what would they be

Lets start with work because it is a neccessity

I start my list like this

I know I am tired but I don't have the time to sleep late

I have a few chores that I can't escape

Spending time hugging my wife is a must

Then eating and work go hand and hand

I need food to keep my body healthy and work to pay my bills

My writing I do with passion and cover the life that I live

I think about my mom and dad who gave me everything they had

I think again of what I can do to be as helpful as they were to me

I can dream a new dream and go far beyond my four walls

Spending the rest of my day listening to everyone I know

Thinking what my life would be like if I had no voice

I would keep all my good thoughts and let the bad ones slide away

For today I have done my ten things and now I have to wait

Tomorrow is another day how will it be different than today

If only I could talk I could say it so I could hear it

That would be so grand

Now all I can do is listen
