Deliver courage

In our darkest hour

Leave us when we need them the most

Altering the chain of events

Strapping us to the proverbial whipping post

A moment can alter one’s life

Make us weak

Then ready to fight

Trick us into thinking our dreams are real

When deep down inside

An emptiness we feel
