Life's Questions and Received Wisdom

Life knocks me down a lot

Some days I feel completely useless

I question: "Is it worth it?"

Cause honestly, some days, I feel utterly worthless

But, they told me that's life

They told me that life will knock you down a lot

And you will question your life's meaning, purpose, and direction

But, they said I'll find the strength to keep going,

I'll realize how far I have come

So, I take their wisdom and I pull the motivation out of me:

To keep kickin,

To keep going,

To continue living

I'll embrace the unknown;

Even though, I know, I'll sometimes question my life's direction

But despite the questioning

I'll continue to run my race

Taking the wisdom I have received

And the lessons I have learned;

I'll march on with my head held high

Because with patience and perseverance

I know that I'll be alright

      Ravi Zacharias once said something along the lines of, when you get there ( wherever that place is that you are supposed to be) you will know it was God who got you there.

      life is not about the quantity of time but about the quality of the quantity of life :)
