Listen when you Hear
Alas, for there is nothing left but sound
To listen, the possibility quite elementary
Yet to hear, now that perplexes many minds
When processing sounds and interpretations
So simplistic in a charming and morose way
For most have been weaned on bleakness
Where neutrality guides a course in perception
And once heard, the sound is discarded forever
To ascertain the collective misconception
Open you mind and step blindly into experience
Give purchase to what was once unseen
Or perhaps unheard, as these verses proclaim
When you’ve ceased listening to the words
And started hearing their deeper meanings
A path emerges to a deeper contemplation
One anchored firmly once and for all
Only then can you start your journey
As you shall be at peace in enlightenment
