Longing for Morals
Longing for Morals
How many times?
I remember these dreams...
Of misery that are rarely ever shown
A desire to scream
Just not for me
Like sharp razors cutting
Never a straight line
Crawling, not sitting anymore
Not in one place for far to long
This itch making me nervous
Killing my shine
Only a memory to dwell
A steeple to laugh upon
Longing for morals of dreams
We have both seen
I remember these dreams
Of love you've shown
We rarely ever see
A life that is your destiny
I remember these dreams
From up under the trees
I see, you- dwelling
From looted mistakes
Alone you have made
Longing for morals
Never truly deciding
Not once hiding
Afraid to let go of these tears
That hide inside real people
If only we should never
Again on this day try to lie
Then I will never hide
These emotions that overwhelm me
While we long for morals
I hide my shell
