Humorous Poetry, "Lost in Cyberspace"

Updated on April 12, 2016

Lost in Cyberspace

Here I lie again I think the day is full ahead

Many ideas are brewing as I lie still in the bed

Up I arise to greet the morn and grab my cup of Joe

Bursting with exuberance I think I will explode

As I finish up my coffee and make another cup

I head to my computer to see what’s up

There I become trapped by one page and then another

As the time slips by I am totally not bothered

Then I realize now it is too late

I have wasted another day in the internet fate

I thought this was pretty darn good! I did give a chuckle while reading it, because it is humorous in the way I think we all can relate to it. :)
