Perfection
Perfection
A perfect home we seek
Grapple with the chaos
Of our cravings and whims
Spend life perfecting things.
A perfect life we seek
Entangle with the snares
Of the world and tempests
Spend life chasing dreams.
A perfect shape we seek
Lose track of the whirls
Of the heart and wild surges
Spend life drawing hopes.
A perfect smile we seek
Forget crinkles of pleasure
On the face and dulcet lids
Spend life enacting cheers.
A perfect action we seek
Ignore toils of dedication
Of the souls and hard sweat
Spend life displaying feats.
A perfect spouse we seek
Forsake gestures of love
Of the beloved and lithe gait
Spend life replicating bonds.
A perfect knowledge we seek
Flock to the sacred abodes
Of the divine and chant names
Spend life pursuing mirages.
A perfect walk we seek
Reflect pride of possession
Of name and ephemeral fame
Spend life squatting on shines.
A perfect speech we seek
Spurn words of strangers
In the street and wise ways
Spend life sipping own wines.
A perfect world we seek
Hanker after carnal needs
Of the self and all desires
Spend life burning up in fires.
