Love At First Flight

They met quite by chance

at the Seedy Cafe

on a lovely spring morn

in the sweet month of May.

There were sparks in the air

that would smoulder and light,

as destiny's hand bid

their spirits take flight.

There was no hesitation.

Their hearts became one,

as chemistry drew them

and romancing begun.

Now, each morning they meet

at the Seedy Cafe,

and fly off together

for frolic and play,

this brilliant red cardinal

and his bright lady fair,

who met quite by chance

over bird feeder ware!
