Love In Reverse

Updated on October 22, 2015

Everything Inbetween

The last time I seen you in my arms

With a smile as big as mine

The only thing that comes close

Nothing to compare to

Enjoying the time

In awe

Relaxed and carefree

Feeling satisfied and complete

Topped off by a sweet dessert

A delicious meal

The warmth of a ragging fire

The sparkle that turns to a wonderful glow

A constant flickering of light

A strong wind blowing everything in it's path

Slowly popping in and out

Sunshine hidden behind a cloud

All the good thoughts in life rolled in a ball

Simple pleasures that feel good

A itch waiting and wanting to be scratched

A refreshing drink after a long day

An idea new and exciting

There is nothing better

Our bodies sinking in a soft comfy chair

The closeness and comfort

All they can think about

When two people agree

A little feeling rising

A picture so detailed and magnificent

Other people see but are not interested

Gypsy Rose Lee Love is tricky. I have always loved with all my heart. Sometimes love is not meant to be. It just means there is someone else out there that is better for you. Thank you for all your comments. Have a great day.

I have been in situations where it seems to be love but actually it's not.

DWDavis RSL I took all the feelings of love and went from the end of total happiness to the beginning when two people first meet. If you take the poem and read from the bottom up. Two people meet by having an attraction to each other. Their love is a picture of beauty. their love grows and soon they want more and more of each other. They feel complete when they look into each other's eyes. I compare it to the comfort of my favorite chair.Looking forward to always being together. Every time they meet they each feel different and alive. Like a drink when your so thirsty nothing else matters. An itch that drives you insane if you can't scratch it. Your tiniest of needs are met. We let all our good nature shine. We are ourselves and are proud of it. Compared to being shy like the sun not wanting to come out in the beginning. Then being bright and out in the open for everyone to notice. Feeling good about ourselves. Our passion like the warmth of our fire. Content like a delicious meal. Where dessert is sweeter and nicer. If possible. Love the more time spent together the better it is. The incredible feeling like walking on air. So happy. You have met someone so amazing. Both feel blessed. The best feeling is being in each other's arms not just today for ever. I sometimes get so deep in thought I just think everyone can see it too. Thank you reading and asking questions. Let me know if I was any help. Have a beautiful day.

I enjoyed the poem very much but am not sure how the title, "Love in Reverse" fits with the poem.
