Simply beautiful, Ruby. Got a feeling of nostalgia, and wanting to go through that little box we all have of our treasures of times past.

      You know me, my Sweet,

Felt like teasing. In NY. Busy two days. Saw my son and mom in Maryland. Great time together. Back in Jamaica, Queens. Just sharing. Much Love,

Manatita, how much longer will you be in NY? I think there is something wrong with the connection on HP. When you comment on my pieces, you come up as a "guest user."

If I knew you were going to be there I would have planned to come up to meet you.

Thanks for letting me connect here, Ruby. (chuckle)

Dear Manatita, I'm glad that you like to share your love in poetic forms. We need more people like you in our world. It must be nice to spend time in England, Jamaica and Queens. I didn't know your mother lived in Maryland, and you have a son, that's great!!!

Hello Gwenneth. I think anytime you write poetry in haiku fashion, you're hooked. It's fun to count syllables to form an image. I'll be watching for yours. Thank you for the follow. Happy to follow you...

      Yes, Ruby.

Its ambiguous, isn,t it? Especially so, as mom is in heaven. LOL. God continue to bless her soul. Its the boy's mom and I was once married, yes. He is 36 years old. We get on fine, we three.

Gina, I have written to you. My prayers are with you. Stay well.

Ruby, Ruby, my gem of a friend

Where oh where do I begin

With the love-letters in the sand

That get washed out to sea

      Written by the lonely

To a love that could never be

      With a secret plea

      Blessings my dear friend
