Love and It's Mirrored Reflection

Updated on June 19, 2013

I See

Don't say your eyes are not lovely.

When they look at me,

I see their depth.

Don't say your hands are clumsy.

When they touch me,

I feel perfect dexterity.

Don't say your voice is not wonderful.

When it whispers in my ear,

it vibrates to my exact frequency and pitch.

Don't say your mouth is inarticulate.

When your lips find mine,

I feel their poetry.

Don't say your features are not strong.

When I look I see years of love and strength,

looking back at me.

And what I see is beautiful.

I will check it out! I love when other poets direct me to their work! This is an intensely personal poem...and your kind comments are humbling to myself and it's subject. Blessings to you!

yess... this is beautiful expression from your words .

I like my poems sort of short .. i feel if you can put what you want to express in a few words ..they are more poerful . Keep up the good work .
