Love at First Sight?

Love is feeling that can only be felt. You cannot describe it and make someone understand the importance of falling in love and being loved. Why was it named Love? No one knows it but this is one feeling which everyone has. There is no age for falling in love. it is so funny that one feels that he or she is in seventh heaven or the ninth cloud when in love but it is said that the person has fallen in love.

All my life I felt that one can never fall in love at first sight and it is just infatuation and not pure love. But I was proved wrong eventually. This poem is about how i started believing in love at first sight.

I was against love at first sight

Always thought that it was not true and not right

But even I could not escape from the cupid’s strike

Saw your photo glowing bright

Like the north start in a dark night

My mind stopped thinking right

And my mind surrendered to love’s might

I lost all the strength to fight

With all humiliation, I accepted that to fall in love the time is right

And believed that there is love at first sight.
