Love’s Ocean sweet, I do declare!

How I yearn to tarry here.

To bathe in Peace at Your sweet Palace;

Thus enjoy an immortal Solace.

So far I've had a partial view,

Alas! Alas! What can I do?

‘Tis seeds of doubt that keeps me so,

So much in distance still to go.

Ego is one of many names,

Delayed my progress; gave me fame.

I yearn for Love’s immortal bliss;

Her comforting message reads like this:

"My child still try, for dawn tomorrow,

May bring sweet joy, instead of sorrow."

-Manatita/Pavitrata.

      Thanks a lot, Bill. Appreciated, my Friend.

      Ruby, it's cool, but I have so many different ones! Some are really esoteric and based on spiritual experiences, and others are designed to teach in a subtle way. This is a rhyming one as some are, but generally I am more creative with the non-rhyming.

      I hope to write one for Ann again on the same theme so I will ask you what you think then. He he :)

      Thanks Ruby. Had my Christmas party all day today. Worship and singing and fun and food and friends and .... you get the pic? I will go to our Temple in Heidleburg end of year/New Year. Much peace and Happy Christmas!!

      Thanks Dora.

      What a great time for comforting messages! Much love to you this Christmas. Is a great big Hug in order? Merry Christmas to your mother, too. God bless her spirit and God bless you with added fortitude at this special time.

      I love your interpretation of the painting. I can hear the thoughts of my child standing at that seashore.

      Thank you so much for responding with one of your beautiful poems.

      I'm off to add this to my list on the hub.

      I see that you are happy, Ann. Excellent! But I could always improve, I suppose. Give me time and I'll write you a much sweeter one for the little girl. I wish you a beautiful Christmas, and a life of joy for you and yours. Happy New Year, also.

      Faith, thank you. Haven't seen one of yours lately. Family keeping you busy? A great Christmas to all!

      Manatita, you are poet of divine love. Your poetry reminds me of the poetry of Meera ( a great devotee of God , who had assumed God as her husband out of divine love ). Rabia, a great Sufi saint, was also merged into such divine love. Both Meera and Rabia sought nothing but only God.

      You took us to a different realm : a realm of love and immortality. This is a wonderful and unique response to Annart's challenge. Great poetry, my friend. Voted up and shared.

      HarishPrasad, I will make you an authority on my poems. You understand them so well. Deep shines your spirituality! Rabia and Meera are immortals. My Teacher has said that in women saints, Mirabai remains unparalleled. I believe in my Teacher.

      Unprecedented choices! I hope one day to be the dust of the dust of their sacred feet. Have a glorious spiritual celebration Bro. My love to you and all those near and dear ones. Om Shanti!

      Rich11. Welcome. Much appreciation. Happy Christmas!!

      Yes, my friend, all is well.

      Yesterday we had our Christmas party: Lots of Christ songs, plays, skits, divine laughter (humour), food, music, singing and much childlike fun. Today we went playing bowls and had dinner afterwards. It was great camaraderie, amongst the 'boys' of my Spiritual Centre.

      Hope our Lord continues to be good to you and family. Merry Christmas, Happy 2015, and may a life of ever-increasing beauty be yours, My friend. Salaam!
