The Poem "Love"Part (2) Whitney sings.

Updated on November 15, 2011

A Huber’s question to me: What is Love?

As I embark on this journey, it will have to be a journey of “Love” for me to even attempt it. Knowing that without

any doubt it is the very best subject matter any writer could pursue and better still it is the most widely discussed

Topic of all times.

I feel compelled to first ask the Most High God in whom I Unconditionally, Undoubtedly and unequivocally believe in.

I also believe that that Jesus Christ came and died on the cross also as an act of “love” from the Most High God himself.

And I do believe that for god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son.

I will not focus on those that begs to differ, after all it is there individual human rights to do so,

And I am more that intelligent enough to understand that. Before understanding my life and the direction “I”

Will take it, without being beaten into submission, without being brain washed, without following anything

Or anyone in any other way, than on my own free will. I have matured to a stage in time where I am sure that

It’s “wisdom” that beckons me to choose a way, everyone has to, everyone else did and it’s now my time. That discussion and conversation came at a time when there was absolutely no one else around. As they will say, it was me myself and I!

It was as if the myself part, was saying. You have seen and heard enough sons. The more of your physical life time that’s

Used up in confusion, then wisdom “that’s me, and you” we are saying to you, it will be all the more confusing and you will be involved in more confusion later. At a time when it will be most difficult to learn, how to be honest and sincere.

If you haven’t learned these virtues and should saving attributes already, there is a very high probability, and the level of difficulty, simply monumental at that stage.

So I Am totally convinced that somewhere inside of all humans, regardless of his nationality or his color, Lies a God

Given ability to differentiate and believe in something or someone. The honesty and sincerity in which one carries out his individual God given assignment it’s up to him.

As I embark on this journey, attempting to bring some type of clarity, at least proud to say “My” truthful interpretation

Of this subject, I sincerely ask that his guidance and Love of the Most High God, will be seen through this,

My choice of subject to write on this day.

After writing the poem “Love” my spirit was not truly satisfied, but I allowed my human side to convince me without words,

That is was ok to go ahead and publish the poem, and I did. Because it was received with such degree of friendly welcome

By those that viewed it, and I could tell, because it became the first of my poems, and or hubs, to cross the fifty views.

Also judging by the quick period of time, that it took.

There are a few very major contributing factors that lead me to this choice of subject, to again write about.

So I also feel that it’s imperative for me to sort of let these factors be known, by incorporation to some degree the chain of events leading yup to this position, by letting the readers know who some of these folks are but showing

Love and Blessings, with a short explanation.

The title will point to that which put the icing on the cake.

Two fellow hubber and first time commenter to my hub were able by their insightful and somewhat eager to learn comments, made me react using my only go to source of truth and sincerity to furnish answers to their comments.

.

The very first comment came from the hubber HattiemattieMae. I asked her for permission to abbreviate her name, I await her response. Her comment was:

Think Love is a sacrifice, but at the same time we should always remember who made the choice to sacrifice,

and when we feel someone owes us for what we gave, we forget to realize that love is more about giving

than receiving. :)

I immediately thought that it was a dear friend of mine that somehow playing a trick on me so I immediately went to her name and took some measures of confirming that it was not her and it must be addressed with the same degree of sincerity that I do all my others hubs.

There was this overwhelming and convinced feeling of Love that I sincerely maintain for the Most High God and my Mother each and everyday throughout my life so far, and I am even convinced that it will also travel with me to the beyond,

Helped by this truth I was able to quickly produce a response, which was:

Thanks for reading and such great comment Hattiemattiemae. Such an unusual name, but pretty, thanks you.

Thank you so much for commenting, and your thoughtful, beautiful comment indeed.

Yes it's overwhelmingly true that the sacrifice almost always gets thrown somewhere to the back.

The same prerequisite (sacrifice) that gets most to that point, to begin with.

Is seemingly, all but forgotten.

But rest assured that it always takes two to tango, and that's where the truth of that love comes in.

Love never lets love fall, and love reminds lovers of their truths and promises.

Thanks for the follow, soon be by to visit.

I can sense a truthful understanding for this subject, so until we write again. Great thoughts.

Blessings and sincere thanks for the intelligent comment....PS...Permission to abbreviate your name?

After this and rather late that same night I got a follow request from this young lady , which again I had to check before responding because , this was her statement /question:

That during or even after reading this poem, a fellow hubber saw it necessary to ask me a question:

"I want to know what love is" no one has answered this

Question perfectly!

As if injected with a massive dose of writer’s adrenaline, I felt immediately compelled to give an answer,

and without any deep concentration , without any other confirmation I started.

I said, One can only “try” to answer, on a topic such as “Love” as it is first a personal,

and very private thing.

I will not consult any ulterior source for an answer, as that will defeat the purpose of what I personally believe

“Love” to be. Love is a feeling that lives with everyone, you are born with it.

It's hereditary and instinctual.

I said that I will even go as far as to say everything living, has exercises some form of love.

Love is possibly the most intelligent entity we as humans might ever know, and possibly also, it can be the most foolish.

So it must be guarded and protected. It sits very close to your truths in both strengths and weaknesses.

it's definitely an individual thing, it's transcends every possible barrier and to put the icing on the cake

"It is what it", to everyone.

No one could ever be able to tell another, that what they feel is, or is not love.

Love will agree as well as it may disagree, hopefully each and every individual will love carefully and accordingly.

True love understands.

She is also a kindergarten teacher, so I told her:

My very best description that I will start kids off with learning is that the Most High God is Love.

Blessings to you “nenyt.” I shortened her name. Keep up the great work with the kids, you will be blessed.

This is also were I will end part (2).

It is with great honor I am sincerely prepared and honored to move on to part (3)

Blessings and Give Thank and Praises.

Sincere thanks to HattieMattieMae and nenytridiana for their inspiration.

Blessings and Give Thanks
