Love's Language
words flutter in breezes
lofting themselves
on currents of desire
as lovers parade their thoughts
among the leaves
always leaving the sigh
for tomorrow--
De sites ravissants
La campagne se couvre,
Et notre oeil y découvre
Des fleurs, des bois, des champs,
Et d’épaisses feuillées,
Où de tendres amants
Promènent leurs pensées.
With places of delight
The countryside is filled,
And our eyes see there
Flowers, woods, fields,
And dense foliage,
Where tender lovers
Parade their thoughts.
murmuration sweet
within the language of love
as dryads and satyrs
form roots intertwined
whispering.
