Lustful Love

Updated on August 3, 2009

Games and Temptation

Loving you keeps me going each day.

The thought of your face;

the taste of your lips.

Craving your touch leaves me feeling weak.

Call me your own.

Put your arms around me,

and I’ll never wanna go home.

Push me past my limit.

Over the edge,

and away we go;

falling from reality

to a place I know all too well.

A place where for the moment we’re safe;

a place far more beautiful than either of us has ever seen.

Yet temptation creeps beneath the sand,

and exotic dances flow through the fire.

Coaxing us even further than we’d dare to go.

Calling out to us by our names,

not giving in once to our playful little games.

Then it comes,

ready to fight;

thinking it’ll win,

and I’ll give in to it’s might,

but I just stand there.

I just give in,

because I’m already lost.

I knew it would win.

Then the passion builds up,

and it suddenly gets hotter,

even though the sun is long past gone.

Looking in your eyes

I know you feel the same,

and for once there’s an understanding.

No more playing games;

we’re going for more.

I’ll let you set the pace.

      i can guess what you were thinking about but the question remains who. Poetry amongst other private words gives umbrage to hide such details. this was well said I would like to hear more of your verse.

      Thanks... This was actually something that I had written several years ago. I can't remember what I was thinking about when I originally wrote it, but I was actually thinking the same thing reading it now. :P
