MEMORIES WE SHARE – Part 17

Updated on October 3, 2011
Source

Comes the Winter

snow

flakes

falling

You see them sparkle

I hear

death calling

Who decides what’s right for me?

because you love me

Set me free

You hear only words of hope

I have traveled far and wide

I am tired, I am sick

don’t take from me

my last, my pride

You want me here

I know you’ll grieve

but it is my choice

now to leave

Please don’t hold me oh so tight

You awake for day

I pray for night

Let me have

this final dignity

Understand this choice

I’ve made is right, for me

I’ve loved you for a long time

and I love you still

but it’s time for me to go now

please respect my final will

I believe we’ll be together

again in future times

My heart is filled with sadness

but this choice has to be mine

Please don’t think that I am quitting

I’m only doing what comes naturally

let me do this as I need to

it’s all right to let me be

I’ve weighed all the options

and I know that this is right

for me the end will come, love

as you kiss my lips goodnight

When I Said I do

This is a difficult journey, but one you expressed so beautifully. There is a heaven; I am absolutely certain of this, and He is with you both. May love and strength continue to guide you and comfort you. Hugs to you, dear Pooh.

stars and Deborrah K.your continuous Christian love and support means so very much to mean in these times when I can feel alone and overwhelmed. I know that God is with me and that I am never truly alone but there are times when human contact is needed too. Many thanks for all that you do!

Poohgranma, May you continue to draw closer to the Lord and find solace on this endless journey! May the Lord keep you as you slowly let go... Parting is sweet sorrow but there will be a reunion in "The Heavens" where sadness, sickness, pain and tears are no more... Continue to cherish the BEAUTY of the WONDERFUL relationship you and Gary will always share... You have certainly been there for him... The Lord is there for you! GOD BLESS BOTH OF YOU!

You couldn't have picked a sadder song, yet so beautiful, one of my favorites by Clint. Sherry what a tragic poem, my heart is crying and my tears are running down the side of this old Saddles cheek.

Gary needs your strength at this hour and your whispers in his ear of LOVE, remember no matter what the outcome, the other side awaits us all and it is not to be feared but accepted as part of the evolution of man.

Be still your heart and listen quietly and you will hear our maker's voice and love for you. I pray for you to have the strength much needed at this time. Peace my sister and hugs from me to the both of you.

    Too painfully beautiful.

The hardest part is to simply watch and be as you let go. May God give you strength.
