My Mother's Tears
I want to sleep
Inside warm embrace
Lay my head
And have some rest
But mother’s arms
No longer warm
Full of tears
She is trying to face her own fears
She thought the good for me
Using her own spectacle
Try to make me wear
The dress which more fitted with her
Both of us stand
On the same land
But chose to sit
On different seat
She never understand
Why I trying hard to stand
When she already prepared
Bed of gold for me to rest my head
I did told her
I did told her
“I am willing to wait, Ma.
So please, just let me wait…”
But somehow it seems
My words always faded away
In her head my dreams
Only sign of my betray
My Mother’s tears
Always break my heart
But I will not allowing her fears
Take away my part
But still
Even when we keep having fight
I always love you, Ma
No matter what
I want to sleep
Inside warm embrace
Lay my head
And have some rest
Hold me , Ma
Please, just hold me
Tell me you love me
No matter what
