Man Of Action

Updated on December 8, 2012

Somewhere you know there’s a man of action

Somewhere you know there’s a man of deeds

Somewhere there’s a man who gets things done

We’ve got to find him and dispose of him quick

Somewhere is a real trailblazer

A woman with fire in her eyes

Somewhere is a leader into unknown

We’ve to find her and get her out of the way

If you give those people their head

You never know where you’ll end up

Nothing is going to be the same

Can you really live with yourself then?

Somewhere is a child with a vision

An idea they don’t know cannot be done

Some kid with a song that needs singing

We’ve got to get them hooked on video games

Somewhere is a family that sticks together

A group of people who know do or die

A bunch of people working for tomorrow

Let’s ship some Playboy magazines to their house

If you give those people their head

They’ll travel off to parts unknown

They’ll drag us off into the future

What’s wrong with you?

Somewhere there exists an idea

A vision that is pure and strong and clean

A way of looking at things that is different

Let’s find everyone who thinks like that

And give them cable tv.

True, true. Hubpages is the safest place! ;)

Chris Neal, The funniest things are also, quite often, the truest. Playboy, cable tv and video games seem to be doing the job oh, so well. HubPages doesn't count though.
