Updated on August 8, 2011

Manufactured Destruction

games of destruction

works so well

to control mass emotions

armies being manufactured

for the sake

of mass destruction

destruction of the masses

in the hands of the few

You would probably like the videos on YouTube of the highly decorated American General Smedley Butler who's noted for the saying "War is a racket." He admitted that every military mission he ever engaged in was for the benefit of economic interests and my reading of American History bears that out.

You might have already read War is a Lie by David Swanson. If not, I highly recommend it. ;-)

      Great poem!
