Young toddlers and preschoolers will want to learn to count with this new friend and all of the things that Mouse finds to count. The Diggers from Margaret Wise Brown is another of the unpublished manuscripts that were discovered. Young children who love to dig in the dirt will find this new story to be a lot of fun as they read along to discover all the ways to dig and all of the creatures that dig. Moles and dogs dig, but who knew that a worm also digs? Mice dig and this little mouse now has a place to put his cheese. Guess what the pirate put into his hole after he finished digging. A man who is digging a hole to prepare for a building to be built makes an exciting discovery. The city is built and a special hole is dug for the train to travel throughout the country.
