Matters

Updated on March 26, 2014

From hand to mouth

somewhere down here, help me

outnumbered, it's paramount

Heart needs tuning, come thou fount!

Pour it down like Noah's rain

wash away my everything

that anchors me In disarray

and keeps me sinking deeper

I lift my eyes

stretch my hands out to the skies

brighter than a babies eyes

open for the first time

Runaway heart beating faster

pacing for the happy ever after

we navigate our natural disasters

some walls fall down, does it matter?

We hold them close

let go the things we cling to most

leave them lying comatose

love until it's overdose

Let's just suppose

mountains move, billows roll

healing for the weary soul

longing just to be made whole

Runaway heart beating faster

pacing for the happy ever after

we navigate our natural disasters

some walls fall down, still matters.
