Midnight Memory
One of my drawings from 1995
The Poem
Midnight Memories
I remember in the middle of that night.
The crisp autumn air.
And our arms closed tight.
We held each other against the night’s chill
Spirits held open
Souls drunk with loves fill.
You sang to me life’s eternal song
“I love you,” you said.
Your echo echoes on.
And the beauties that rise against the night skies,
Will always remind me
Of that moment in time.
We never do know how much time we do have.
God gives what He will
And we walk in His hand.
So, Remember as I do such moments in time.
And thank God for each
Of these Jewels we find

I little poem: I love the Wind
I love the wind when it flies
Scouring the ground pushing the skies.
Trees and grasses pushed toward the ground
Loose leaves and things whirling around
Oh, the power and exhilaration I feel
To my heart is love and to my soul, ‘tis a meal.
