Mingle
Updated on December 17, 2010
I feel the warm air from your lungs burst on my face like a
crashing wave.
feel your claws possess me with strange energies.
hearts spasm on the same beat.
Our music,
discordant rythym of long extinct tribes.
We speak in tongues.
dead words with no meaning.
A dance of jerks and soaring
wind blows the sweat from our bodies.
Mingled oils of conflicting skins.
Now one.
We fly briefly
One consciousness
Break into foam and the world absorbs us,
molecules formed anew.
Realigned polarities.
I breathe sounds into your ear
That only you know the meaning of.
Does Fate blow through the alleys of the city
shimmering softly in currents of air?
does it touch the bodies of strangers and
bring them together?
Or is our union merely a traffic accident of attraction...
In a place of no time.
Before Time began,
Who were we?
Did our spirits mingle?
Or were they the same?
