Mistakes: A Poem

Updated on March 9, 2017
Source

A hang nail,

A faulty traffic light,

A clock that stops telling time,

And a letter that never reaches you,

These are the mistakes of the universe,

That are waiting to be fixed,

Where we find hope,

In our brokenness,

It mirrors our fatal flaws and faults,

Showing us that we aren't alone,

In our brokenness,

A wilted rose,

A computer virus,

A shattered china dish,

And a haunting ghost town,

These are the mistakes of the universe,

That are waiting to be fixed,

Where we find hope,

In our brokenness,

It mirrors our fatal flaws and faults,

Showing us that we aren't alone,

In our brokenness.
