Writer's Mistakes
Mistakes you make when setting goals!
Are you the type that sets goals and does not follow up on your goals?
I do not set goals for myself as I did in the past, I figured that I need to do what is important and work on that for a better future.
Goals are not for all and are a task to achieve if you are up for it.
No matter when you choose to accomplish your goals you need to focus on goals.
You can achieve your goals if you focus on smaller goals and do this step by step. I knew this and realized I had to focus and achieve smaller goals.
It becomes easier to cope with if you want to do it. I accomplished my goals when I achieved smaller goals and challenged my way through living in a foreign country.
My first goal was to speak a foreign language. I had to chat with the local people and needed to break through these challenges that took me away from my lifestyle. The mistakes I made when trying to set my goals were stupid.
I didn’t care to learn the language before my trip to Croatia, and I lacked achieve my goals due to dwelling in the past. A different lifestyle held me back from moving on with my beginning.
It felt easy to say I would do this and that and never got to it.
I needed to connect my emotions to my goals and at that time, I was not connected to anything new in this foreign country. I reached my goals by showing an interest in those goals.
It was mostly about me leaving my good life to live in Croatia to restart a life I had no idea of. That didn’t occur to me to focus on my goals when I had many issues to deal with here.
Given the years ago I moved to Croatia, I did not know what to expect and how long it would take me to adjust to this lifestyle. I did not use my vision, nor did I feel happy to do much to move on. Three years later of my stay, I started to speak the Croatian language.
It felt strange. I had mixed emotions and pictured it as a holiday. My vision of setting goals did not get to me until I felt like doing things on my own.
Nothing felt easy or simple to do.
Goal setting was not achieved due to my poor vision of the place. I did not lack belief in myself, instead, I lacked the energy to do much for myself.
I was confident to achieve a goal but did not find it in my heart to live life as I felt this way. It was as if I had nothing exciting or good to feel happy about each day.
I did not know the language and it made me negatively see certain issues. The nagging from the local people did not allow me to achieve my goals. To achieve your goals, be yourself, positive, and confident.
Even if you are not all three, you will find your way to setting your goals and achieving goals on an upbeat level.
You shouldn’t see your life as a failure just for not achieving one goal. It doesn’t mean that you are stupid or not good enough to achieve that goal as you want it.
Little obstacles get in the way of your lifestyle that you can’t cope with would hold you back. Be fearless in achieving goals and do not mingle with people who hold you back from achieving goals.
You need to set your goals and feel good about what you need in your life. I had an open mind and worked my hardest to achieve goals and display goals for me.
Do you think your goals are time-consuming?
You do not need a barrier to achieve your goals. Commit to getting what you want from life as I did.
You can reach your end goal if you commit to your smaller goals.
Each day set a target and accomplish that to move on to the next. This is a process that doesn’t take a lot of your time.
I did not make many goals and did not work much on goals, and realized making goals is hard work if I do not stick by them.
The lessons taught me to be confident without making many goals in my first steps of living in Croatia. I couldn’t achieve that goal if I pushed myself toward it.
I had to accomplish that goal if I wanted to but on my own. It did not come to me when I wanted that to happen. Goals came to me when I had nothing else to do and had no one to go to for my daily chats.
I did not have a plan to set these goals; it just happened the moment that I felt the need to do something for myself.
I set goals when I had not accomplished any goals through challenges, that I had in a different place. I knew then, it would be my hardest to make this new life work for me.
I knew I had to determine what my inner self needed to move on with my new beginnings in Croatia, and learned to keep my strengths and gain control over my goals.
