Mister Know It All
He sails the waters off Newport...
Fool On The Hill
MR KNOW IT ALL
... by gg.zaino
He slides from one conversation to the next
becoming familiar with the doting members
surrounding his self-importance.
The question:
who would he nominate first
from the evening's stalking grounds
to satisfy a first strike initiative?
He would pounce without warning
sinking his predatory opinion and jagged black claws;
Deep...
A silent assassin, the stalker of bungling fools.
Forever on the prowl, staking reputation and honor.
To be correct- to have all the answers,
his mission and burden.
A 'Man' among men,
never unsure, could never miss;
a near impossible obstacle to budge.
So tremendous was this weight to bear,
but he willingly seized the challenge,
considered it his calling.
It was a simple matter of setting records,
and disciples straight to the facts.
His knowledge and opinion so great,
he was the talk of the town.
College professors, medical doctors, politico's, etc...
Their meaningless credentials
presented no apprehension or concern for the man.
Why?
Because he had "Verve"
"Assurance"
and could elucidate on each, and every topic.
Tricksters, consistently conspired,
attempting to defame his superiority.
He simply takes a stance- rigid in his defiance,
until one after another, they all go down in flames.
He hires a boy, to keep his sports car shining,
an old black woman, to cook his meals, clean his house.
Hires gardeners to to keep the shrubbery in line,
and insists that sail-boating, tennis, and skiing, the only true sports;
the rest of them, so much boredom.
Simply time wasted, frivolous games for the sweating proletariat.
On women...
His philosophy simple,
"They're all twin sisters, standing on their heads."
He remains evasive in talk about love,
rolls his eyes- quickly moves on to other subjects.
... Truth be known, females frighten him,
cause him to stammer, their conversation discomforting,
so he hires escorts...
entertains himself with video cameras,
whips, manacles, and black leather.
And nobody dare debate it...
