Monday Morning Cramps Or Not?
OR....
A little humour carries a long way, hopefully till the end of day....
A guy had a banana sticking out from one ear
And, a carrot stuck in the other one
And, green grapes in each nostril
He stormed into the doctor's office panicking
He said, "Doc? Doc? Look at me! What's wrong with me?"
The Doctor Replied, "I don't think you're eating right!"
Monday visits again,
But, this time Monday is well received. Today, instead of Monday being borderline horrific the sun was shining and my son was wanting to go to school. It's wonderful when things go smoothly and the routine of getting ready to go to work isn't painful.
I was awake at least twenty minutes before the alarm rang. Out of bed I sprung to jump start the day! The kettle whistled as I politely woke my son with a kiss on each cheek. And then, while giving him his space, I made my favorite coffee of the day, the first cup. The sun shining, my son smiling, and a sweet tune playing in my head Monday was welcome to stay.
Monday Scientific Study...(remainsofthedesi.wordpress.com/2007/07)
Scientists have discovered a cure for the dreaded Monday morning blues – stop sleeping in on weekends.A new study has found that lazy Saturday and Sunday lie-ins can disturb your body clock, leaving you fatigued at the start of the week.Flinders University sleep expert Leon Lack said people often used the weekend to catch up on sleep lost during the week. But he told the Australasian Sleep Association Conference in Perth that while this might help pay off a “sleep debt”, it came at a cost.
“We’ve discovered that these sleep-ins are actually putting your body out of whack enough to change your Sunday night bedtime and set you up for Monday blues,” Professor Lack told AAP.
I Was Not Used In Their Study....But,
I didn't sleep in Saturday or Sunday -- Not because I didn't want to! Maybe, just maybe, the reason why this morning I didn't have their so-called, 'Monday Morning Blues,' better known to me as the Monday Morning Cramps is the result of not sleeping in on the weekend. I say, "Boo-hoo! Fiddle-dee-dee!" I love to sleep in and be lazy, even if it's only for an extra half an hour more than the usual alarm setting. Well, it's ether a case of no being lazy on weekends or a case of much dreaded, Monday Morning Cramps??? Got a whole entire week to contemplate....
Leave me a comment, would love to hear your Monday experiences!!!!! :)
