Mother Nature, We Are Indebted to You!
Preface
The life came in existence long back on Earth and then evolved in the lap of the nature progressing to the level of present day highly concious human beings. This conciousness is something which differenciates us from animals. We are a product of the elements of nature and our mythologies vividly describe it. I feel it is our duty to say thanks to the nature and mother Earth as we are indebted to it for what we are today. The best way to thank is to keep our enviroment clean and unpolluted.
Nature and Science
“The proper use of science is not to conquer nature but to live in it.”
—Barry Commoner
Mother Earth
You are our creator,
You are our mother.
We are indebted to you,
Oh! our originator.
All your elements,
Are within us.
You are the source,
We are the receivers.
The warmth of the sun,
Which you absorb.
The relentless spin,
That you observe.
You provide us days,
You provide us nights.
You provide us rains,
You provide us tides.
You gave us shelter,
In your caves.
You gave us fire,
In your woods.
We want to keep you clean,
We cherish it in our dreams.
This is the time to repay,
Only way that seems.
Our vow to keep you happy,
Our desire to keep you unpolluted.
Is the only way to go ahead,
As we all are indebted.
Environment
“The environment is where we all meet; where we all have a mutual interest; it is the one thing all of us share.”
-Lady Bird Johnson
Endnote
Keeping the environment clean and habitable is the primary requirement of the present times and by achieving that only we can convey our respect and honour to the mother Earth. We are indebted to her and this is the only way to repay.

Umesh, I agree with you completely. We need to take better care of our environment. What we're doing to Mother Earth is a direct reflection of the disrespect we have for ourselves and each other. Why doesn't anyone see that?
Thank You for sharing :)
So inspirational
good read
Highly inspiring and motivating rhyme!!
It do reminds everyone of the blessings which God has bestowed to us in the very form of nature!!
We all should cherish the joy of nature and with utmost affection should strive towards making it even more beautiful!!
A most noteworthy Hub and a gentle reminder that we all have to play our part in this, our common ground -- Mother Earth. Lovely piece!
Umesh,
Thank you for sharing this poem.
We can all use a reminder to take care of Mother Earth.
Good write.
Beautiful poem with profound message :) It shows how much we need to look after our mother nature :) God bless you for the reminder :)
A valuable message, through your well written poem.
We, indeed are indebted to Mother Nature, and it’s our responsibility to preserve it, for the future generations.
An important reminder about, what all we owe to the environment.
Thanks for sharing.
You did justice to the fact that we need to take care of our environment or suffer the consequences. Thanks for raising awareness of this vital topic.
Amen to your tribute to Mother Nature! We are indebted and she deserves our homage and our care.
I thoroughly enjoyed your poem.
Wonderful. I like the style of your poem. I really think you did good with the upbeat nature of this piece. Yes I used "nature" on purpose. I like the term "Respect the nature of nature.". "Mother Earth" is how I was raised to say it.
I am quite concerned about the disposal of the heavy metals in solar panels.
A day without dirt is not such a great day.
As long as it is not TOO clean. Some people use 'clean and neat' as an excuse to kill every weed, replace grass with concrete and remove all opportunities for children to play with mud and soil, which removes them from their connection with the earth. Great poem and important topic.
Mother Earth is certainly beautiful, it's a shame how people pollute the rivers, bottles, plastic, you name it. Beautiful!
Mother is is the first mother
This is a beautiful poem, Umesh. I feel the same way.
Very good write. So good to keep raising awareness to respect our environment.
Thank you for shining a light on the need to respect our environment and by so doing, honour Mother Earth before it is too late. A timely reminder Umesh well written.
Pieces like this one help to raise awareness, and that makes this a valuable piece of writing. Well done!
