My mom said that she would have become a grand-mom

If only I was married to my Prince Charming by now

So I got an opportunity, I adopted cute triplets

In the beginning of this New Year that's what I fixed :)

They are my adorably cute poop machines

All of them are grey and brown with beautiful green eyes

It's a little bit difficult to find out who is who

As they look alike and I don't know which one pooped.

Yes, they poop everywhere and I keep cleaning

According to my mom as long as I take their responsibility

I'm able to care for them, play with them and give shelter

With their biological mom they have milky time together.

They sleep cuddle up together like a ball of grey fur

The naughty Munchkin around my feet keeps on purr

It is very adventurous, fearless and curious

You could always find it trying to jump from stairs.

There is this little skinny one whom I call as Poochie

The sound of anyone's steps makes it flee

And it keeps hiding inside our drain pipe

Otherwise it's always hype.

The third one is the calm silent one

Who always get pulled by Munchkin

It likes to spend some quality time with me

As the Hidy Kitty seems to enjoy my company.

Now why do I always refer to them as 'it'

I didn't really check their gender of each it

My family enjoys their playful tricks

Except when they poop on their things.

Mama Kitty does a fantastic job

As she keeps on hunting down rats who pop

Since the time she came to our house

We got rid of most of the rats.

I thank God for seeing my little heart

Not just one, I got three instead

Though their poops are very smelly

I'm so glad that they came here to be with me :)

Story

On the 2nd of January 2016 , my brother, my mom and myself did some cleaning in our store room. While I was cleaning I heard a faint meow to which I looked around and couldn't see a cat. So I just continue to the sorting out the books which we were going to give away and what we should keep. Then suddenly from the corner of my left eye saw a movement near the water meter which was hidden under some wood planks.

At first I thought it was a rat, then I saw its tail which is not too skinny. So I checked to see, there was a frightened kitten on an anthill for which my heart really wanted to keep it. Without telling my mom I took it upstairs and tried to keep it hidden since my mom would protest against it. So I gave it some milk and food. I realized that it doesn't like to stay hidden, kept on climbing on the basket. So I finally told my mom and as I suspected, she didn't like it at all. After reasoning out with her finally she agreed and I was very happy. However, later in the night it was missing and I searched it everywhere and no where to be found... I was sad at first but felt a bit comforted knowing that I tried and did what I could.

On the next day, I heard a meow and saw a little kitten at one of our neighbours garden. I was so happy at first thinking it was the lost kitten, so I asked the little girl, and she said I could have it. So I went there and called the name I gave it, but it ran away and hid. Then I realized it's not the one I had the day before plus she said there are many more to which I didn't like the idea of separating members from its family, So not nice. By the end of that evening, I saw Mama kitty with a kitten. Next day I saw two kittens and by the end of that day, there were three kittens with the Mama kitten. Since they are small and as long as I clean their poop, my mom allowed me to keep them :) So I told my mom that finally she's a grandma since I adopted baby kittens :)

According to my mom and my brother, I'm just like my father's mother who had 14-16 cats when I was small. My grandma was a nurse so she used to bring cats who were injured, give them food, drinks (milk and Marmite) and shelter.
