Dear Mama
Mother's Love
Dancing Lady. This is my mother's favorite flower.
You love us, Mama.
You may not be expressive of your love;
But in your own caring ways,
you made us feel that so.
You care for us, Mama.
Even though you’ve been struggling so much;
You never failed to give us your best;
just to give what you can to help and understand us,
in as much as you can.
You inspire us, Mama.
To be the best that we can be;
And realize so many things about life,
that really matters most;
Despite your imperfections and shortcomings.
We love you so much, Mama.
Know that you are being cared for and forgiven;
You will always be forever remembered;
Deep within our hearts and souls as long as we live.
We may be in deep sorrow at this time;
But our only source of consolation is that,
the Lord will really grant you the privilege;
To be with Him in the comfort of heaven.
Your journey in this life,
may surely not be that easy;
Yet, I trust in the Lord;
That you will be well taken care of now in His arms.
You will be missed dearly;
We love you so much.
Wishing you joy in the comfort of the Lord in heaven.
About This Poem
This poem is dedicated to my beloved mother who died of breast cancer. She will be dearly missed. Her love and care will always be cherished in my heart as long as I live.
My Mama used to sing this to me when I was young.
