My Sweet Angel

Updated on September 25, 2012
Source

My little angel

You came to me

In my darkest days

You saved me from

What I thought

Would never end

It's funny how you

Make me smile

With your sweet face

Brightening up my world

From the ugly everyday

So loved you are

Your a little light

A shining star

Who knew how happy

You can make me

A little thing like you

From day to night

You make me laugh

My heart lives in you

This poem is about a new puppy I adopted in July. It's funny how animals can bring out the best in you.

What a cutie. Animals bring out the best in most of us because they love and trust unconditionally. I am a big animal lover. Your poem is beautiful.

adorable, Caroline! Interestingly, i just wrote a poem about my 13 year old baby called Tiger Love (in case you're interested..lol). The cycle of life, eh? tweeting, voting..

Congrats. Lola is adorable. Sid completely agrees and sends a welcoming meow. He doesn't speak woof. lol

A lovely tribute to man's - and woman's - best friend. Our pets can be so forgiving, too.

If you feel this way just since July, be sure to write a hub on how much more you love him later! Animals "grow" on you!

Only some "animals" can. "Once burned, twice cautious." Don't have the pet have to save you again, from that something you thought would never end. Find someone as loyal and loving as that pet. It's a good test to apply. After all, you will feed and love that "animal" too!

True, it really is! I laugh so often at Woof and imagine stories that he could tell me, maybe he does tell me in some way. I should write some of them down. Up & more!
