My little angel

You came to me

In my darkest days

You saved me from

What I thought

Would never end

It's funny how you

Make me smile

With your sweet face

Brightening up my world

From the ugly everyday

So loved you are

Your a little light

A shining star

Who knew how happy

You can make me

A little thing like you

From day to night

You make me laugh

My heart lives in you


This poem is about a new puppy I adopted in July. It's funny how animals can bring out the best in you.
