My Voice - A Poem

Updated on April 15, 2014

My Voice

Caring with comforting conviction. Security with considerate restriction.

Intimidating strength in conviction.

It can soothe you. It can rip right through you.

Always used appropriately. Always used strategically.

Confidently commanding throughout.

I have no need shout.

My Voice.

My #1 Pet Peeve in life is Shouting.

I have mastered the art of speaking with my eyes.

      Thank you Kaili !

In this, my friend, are the terms in which any one person should open their mouth. To speak with such a voice as mighty as the described, would make our world better.

Awesome! And yea you can say so much more with a whisper than a shout, unless people are asking you to raise your voice all the time 'cause they can't hear you...like they do to me! Hehe

Wonderful! Being in control of our voice at all times is important. A lot can be said about people judging by the tone of their voice.

      Another Voice!

      Considerate providing thoughtful measured advice

Without the requirement to say things twice

      Using authoritative tones when needed

So guidance imparted is oft (but not always!) heeded

      Amber:)

I just hate the avoidable turmoil caused by an unsure, or an unregulated voice.

      Comforting with caring direction.

      Security with considerate restriction.

      Intimidating strength in conviction.

      It can soothe you.

It can rip right through you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

      The polar opposites.

How you use your voice is important because the message and who you really can become lost .

      Thanks, R

& Thank you Robin, I think it is the realistic protector in me that may have generated my thoughts here.

Sometimes sincerity can come out as being poetic.
