My World So True !!

Updated on March 15, 2014
Source

Well good morning one and all and here in Wales we have beautiful sunshine so its outside very soon for me. I have the pulling lately to embrace my photography and to create something precious to go along with my poems .I am not sure what this is yet but I am sure it will come to me.

Today's hub is one where I have searched my heart and soul for all feelings painful and happy which have visited me now and again over the years .

It is so important to air the pain as well as the happiness; one thing I know for sure today is that whatever I face as life goes on I will always raise my head after finding the positives in my heart and soul.

The song I choose is one I came across as I searched youtube and how important the message is. 'Love me for what I am.'

It is important that we are loved for ourselves .

Not for what someone wants us to be but for our own very true selves.

Again I add the three very precious words in my life.

Accept the past that you cannot change anymore.

Expect feelings of despair, sadness and grief.

Appreciate the good times and all the gems that you have today.

I know that I am so very rich in my life and appreciate it all.

I hope you enjoy today's hub and remember it is not a sin to sit and weep every now and again .

A sense of jagged intrusion

the moonlight

hindered by

corrosive mists

of doom.

To sway as a pendulum

immersed in woe

from a muffled groan

a sense almost rancid

a heart so weary.

Striking in dull composure

at a quandary only I can settle.

A mode only I can feel

as the sharp blows of the night

beckon

in almost mocking insistence

cruelly twisting

my dreams

to nightmares.

Source

In the fountain of solace

the makings of a brand new dawn

where dewdrops of healing proportions

beckon to me.

I slowly unfold

and immerse my heart

into a soothing balm.

Why do I cry?

Why do I feel such burdens?

Why doesn't the sun continuously shine down on me?

Like a soothing cloak

from my angels

my guardians

take me into arms so strong

I know I so surely belong.

Tethered to amilestone

pained and battered by life

I rise again

as a brand new golden dawn breaks;

tender slithers of light

penetrating darkness

with a strength

and

purpose

so sure so true.

Bright stars

mingling with the winter breeze

palying

enticing

each shiver of apprehension

coated with magical bliss.

I may not see the reflecting smile

I may not see the sun's rays shine

but for sure my heart enfolds

my being delights

in the knowledge that

when reality strikes

life's pendulum

deep in my being

my strong spirit

will rise to love,

care and share

eternally.

Source

I know

My world is true

Sometimes my heart will weep

At times my spirit so weary

Souls to be pendulums of truth in life

A heart to recognise a truth

Footsteps walk much lighter

Eternally

I know.

Source

To sit by life's shores

a shell salutes in solitary stance;

each wave crashing

to and fro

but she stands strong.

A tired spirit

and weary heart

rests in welcomed repose.

Salt laced spray

entices the healing

of battered beings.

To crawl with sure spirit

to a bosom so safe.

To sit by life's shores.

Feeling the beauty

Recognising raw cravings

Lasting contentment.

x

Feeling the sunshine

Recognising raw cravings

Lasting and precious.

x

Feeling my heartbeat

Recognising raw cravings

To share and to care.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend and I send lots of love from my little corner of Wales.

It's so admiring and encouraging how you face life after what had happened to you in the past. Beautiful poetry with an important message. I also love the beautiful images and the song 'Love me for what I am'.

Eddy, your words of wisdom really shine through in this one. We can't heal until we allow ourselves to weep. The pain will work its way out if we recognize it and allow it to take its course. Joy will shine through in the end.

Thank you for the rays of sun behind some clouds this morning. You are right that sometimes we have lived through difficult times in our past, things come back up and we feel a little sad... and it's OK. Someone told me once "tears wash the pain". So don't be afraid to cry and let go!

Have a beautiful and sunny weekend (also in your heart), Eddy!

Just loved it. Life is good. The past is what makes us what we we are, Kipling wrote: If we can meet triumph and disaster and treat those two imposters just the same.

Lovely pictures and message today. It's sometimes hard to accept things that have happened in the past and to expect rough times, especially when we don't have the power to control them, so it's important to embrace all the good things. Beautiful words and your emotions shine through perfectly with your words and the photos. Enjoy your weekend. :)
