My Discovery

Updated on September 3, 2013

The pictures on the bedroom wall

The faucet and the bathtub stall

An open book, my favorite toy

All these things bring to me great joy

I see my hands, my feet, my toes

I even see my little nose

And all I am I truly see

Is part of my discovery

My brothers laughs, my fathers tickles

And all the things that make me giggle

My little bike, my bouncing ball

And when my grandma comes to call

My parents smiles are filled with love

The kind of love sent from above

For I remember that love still

The love of he, yes it is real

Although these things are simple

All the beauty that I see

Continues to amaze me still

That my discovery
