My submission

Updated on September 28, 2012

I submit to this pain,

showing

this loss is not in vain.

I will live with this pain,

knowing

you do not feel the same.

I will cherish this pain,

glowing

with what whisper remains.

I will sleep with this pain

slowing

my anxious heart’s refrain.

I will wake with this pain,

flowing

as a fugue through my veins.

I am freed by this pain,

sowing

the seed to love again.

Now I'll have to go through my waste basket. I've thrown many away over the years....no, I think not, the ones I keep will have to do. Thanks again.

How do you do that? Wonderful gripping phrases. And I have loved and lost and cherished both.

The truth is that I only make small adjustments after some other force within me does the rest. Strange, I know, but that's about the only way I can explain it. I am glad you enjoyed it.
