Mythical Birds Allow Me To Think
Mythical birds who powers
Have awed mankind for centuries
Unlike the lioness inside of me
Who courage impels me
To be brave; and not to be afraid
Me think my poems should vanish for a while
And gathered dust on the walls of libraries
It sadden me, no frown, no smiles
we must accept our separation
Until, pen and paper meet again,
No, more pondering thoughts
In the middle of the night
Should I read a book
Or such I write blogs
About love, life, or move away from
Confessional or the contemporary styles
To be brave; and not to be afraid
Me think my poems should vanish for a while.
21 gun salute
to my pen,
Until we meet again.
I am invincible
this is not the end.
