Sampson was not the best student in school nor was he the brightest but there was this peculiar thing about him.He was always loved. All the teachers always had something to commend in him and from our junior secondary to our senior years, he always held a prefect post so it was not a surprise when he was made the senior prefect of the school.

His role as the senior prefect was a transformational one because he as a student brought in some changes and ideas into the school system,he introduced the school press and the dramatic club.Sampson was good in science and we all thought that he will end up being a medical doctor but he chose to read psychology at the University where he emerged with first class honors.

As a police man, he gave his best and was able to transform the police force, he helped fish out so many corrupt police officers and in the house, he was a loving husband and a dear Dad who gave his family the best of him.

He served the general public with simplicity, humanity and performed his duties as a police officer with ethics and good conducts so it was not a surprise once again when as a junior officer, he was selected to head the National Anti Crime squad.
We were close and related firmly because there is this bond between the lawyer and the police so we always had something to do together.

I know that no matter the hour of the day, that he will never avoid to answer his cell phone so, i got worried when i called that day and for the first time in twenty five years,he did not pick nor called me back.

I was worried but never expected the worst so seeing Sampson laying helplessly on the stretcher in the General hospital was heart broken, he had multiple gun shot wounds.Inspector Sampson Nico Wabadaba died of the injuries he sustained while exchanging gun fires with a group of bandit that stormed Rossi Continental Bank.

He was an outstanding Police officer, every day there are so many brave men and women who die in the course of our defense so this tribute goes to all fallen police officers.

Crime Fighters

A fallen friend

A fallen arm

A fallen hero

They sacrifice all they have to keep us safe

There are so many heroes out there risking

Their lives for our general peace and safety

They are the crime fighters

They don't sleep for our sake

They wrestle the bad eggs

And give all their mights for us

A fallen arm

A fallen brother

A fallen hero

Wish that the ones on top will care

And make your goal a bit safer for you

I have no doubt in my heart that your services

Will never ever be in vain

A fallen arm,a fallen light, a fallen hero

You are my crime fighter

You lay down your own life

That i may see dusk and dawn

You are the crime fighter

Help them out

I love my country and it's rivers

I love it's hills and it's valley

I want to be a patriot for real

But i need your assistance

I cannot do it alone

Nigeria Police Force

The corruption in the system

Caused by the man on top

The tears in the street

Caused by his negligence

Help them to deliver the truth

I want to be a patriot for real

I want to serve my country with honor

I love it's forests and mighty streams

I love it's roughness and hard tracks

I need your support to deliver the truth

Nigeria Police Force

Every day and every minute

A police officer is killed on duty

The reward for your negligence

Is the tears of the common man

I love liberty and freedom

I try to protect and serve

But without your support

My goals will be worthless

I need your arms

I need your light

I need your devotion

I need your support

I need your commitment

Nigeria Police Force

Help them out

To deliver the truth

Your re a wonderful man Rossi. You understand what Nigeria police force passes through' if the government and the citizens of this great country will understand this it will be a break through in security in Nigeria' for instance when government provides patrol vehicles for for NPF, they mostly fail to provide petrol for the vehicles' and they know that a vehicle cannot move without petrol, subjecting the NPF to extortion from the masses to fuel their vehicles' sometimes policemen will use their small salaries to contribute to buy petrol. We need people that will drive into the ears of the government that without security there will be no government'. I love the illustrations keep it up Rossi :-)
