Loneliness Indeed

Have you never lost yourself in your aloneness

To breathe, to define it would be impossible

It's the fragrant smell of flowers brought into existence on the tail of the wind

It's the beautiful array of butterflies in seemingly lazy flight

The gentle movement of the water as it meanders out to unknown points

The rabbit that forages for food stopping now and then

ears twisted towards the slightest sound

The squall of seagulls overhead

And as evening descends and the skies color blends

Transfixed by the wonder to breathe the mild evening Air is to know

One is never alone amongst the subliminal call of nature
