A Short Journey; But Never A Place Without GOD.

Updated on May 1, 2010

Just a Short Journey.

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom

33. Sell that you have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approached neither moth corrupteth

We left the place serene and secured to journey to our place of wonders. We never knew what would take place, but our Father warned us it would not shelter our face.We journeyed across wind driven desert's,cold distant plains, mountains that cut our feet and showed we needed God to heal our pain and bleeding hearts.

We took shelter in caves made for wolves and Vultures we fought with nature to live a life outside of heavens great place. With our backs to our place of security not made with hands we pushed on thinking our Father was mad and unforgiving of the choices we made.

Now our feet are bruised and bleeding our face shows our struggle our hands are worn holding to the rocks of the mountains we climb to gather and build a shelter from the cold.Rocks we use for protection in these animal skin bags.Fighting a battle that is not ours. Our backs are tired from the weight of the yokes and burdens we made for our-self.Psalms55:22 Cast your burden upon the lord, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. If we just sat them aside and go back up the mountain side to the place called Zion.

Read Psalms 73 It tells of this journey but to the beginning and end all eyes shall see GOD. Here are just a few I pulled to write;

Verses 21-28: Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

22.So foolish was I.and ignorant;I was as a beast before thee.

23.Nevertheless I am continually with thee; thou hast holden me up by my right hand.

24.Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory

25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire besides thee

26.My flesh and my heart faileth; but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever

But still in all God is still speaking turn around my child, look away from the place of wonder and know that I AM all that you will ever need.

The day you decided to decide without my consent,I loved you then and forgave you ;The day you went outside you stepped, But not outside of me.

My arms are all ways open never folded are bent to receive you coming and going just as you went.

Gods Blessings!

The symbolism you use here is very revealing and prophetic.

Largely, the pain, suffering and all come because we chose a route outside of God. We made our own plans and wandered off in search of the idols of our own design. Were we disgusted because our prayers were not answered? Were we tired of praising God while every single thing we had was taken from us?

Ultimately, those things we do have will become corrupt or obsolete at some point. We can't attach a U-Haul to our caskets, so taking it with us is out.

Sometimes, when I sit back, I think of all those televangelists with millions and me sitting here with nickels and dimes. I think of the homeless we work with each day. I hear the criticisms from others who think I'm off the wall for running myself short all the time so one more homeless family might have food tonight and a warm blanket. I do not envy the televangelists though I wish that I could have 1% of what they take in as the homeless situation is not getting better. To rent a house in Baltimore City starts at around $900 monthly before considering utilities and goes from there.

It is why, as you said, I personally cannot go off on my own little ventures. I find I need to go to Him constantly especially in most recent times. Thanks for a good one!!
