New Year's Blessings

Updated on December 31, 2012

I sing the glories of the New Year

On the edge of miracles we stand

A chance for reconciliation

To become whole once more

Hope comes on the wings of the new

Promises echo in the background

As we join hands and embrace all humanity

We become one

The world is not lost

All things are made new

Blessed by the hands of a Creator

Crafted with the grace of the King

Embrace the new with mercy

Shout LOVE from the mountain top

The time has come

For the withered vine to bear fruit

Let everything with breath

Sing hymns in accord with nature

The air is full of the sweet, sweet sounds

The bells ring like the chimes of hevean

Ringing New Year's blessings

For you and for me.
